Compofactur MusikVerlag publishes the Violin Concerto by Mikhail Pletnev as a first edition. The work is dedicated to Alexei Mikhailovich Bruni, the first concertmaster and co-founder of the Russian National Orchestra.

The soloist at the premiere was Vadim Repin, who performed the work with the Russian National Orchestra and conductor Alessandro Cadario in March 2023 in Novosibirsk as part of his Trans-Siberian Art Festival. This was followed by two further performances in Omsk and Moscow in April.

The Hungarian premiere will take place on 17 February 2024 with the violinist Kristīne Balanas and the Concerto Budapest under the direction of Mikhail Pletnev.
