The Guildhall School of Music & Drama is hosting a Sir George Martin Centenary Weekend in December.
At the Guildhall Sir George studied from 1947 to 1950 piano and oboe, as well as composition, arrangement, conducting and music theory.
Compofactur – Matthias Spindler has prepared a number of arrangements and editions of Martin’s works for the Sir George Martin Centenary Concert. The concert’s theme is From The Beatles to Bond and beyond.
