Matthias Spindler (MSp) is an experienced record executive working with distinguished and internationally renowned classical musicians on their audio recordings. A former Associate Producer of Deutsche Grammophon (DG), Spindler has developed and supervised recording projects for numerous DG artists. Working in a close-knit team with the artists, their agencies and the DG management and staff has always been a great inspiration to him. Following the move of DG from Hamburg to Berlin, Spindler continues his work on a free-lance basis. From August 2011 to March 2012 Matthias Spindler worked on behalf of Deutsche Grammophon as Executive Producer for a couple of artists such as Rafał Blechacz, Pierre Boulez, Maria João Pires and Thomas Quasthoff. In addition he was Associate Producer for Gustavo Dudamel and responsible for DG Concerts. As an independent Executive Producer, Matthias Spindler offers artists, orchestras and record companies professional help with their recording projects from the first planning stages to the release of the finished product. Matthias Spindler can draw on an extensive international first-class network of arrangers, recording producers, audio and video production companies, musicians, orchestras, labels, artist and PR agencies, editorial services, graphic designers as well as web designers.
